I have seen you in my dreams dear. I don’t have an explanation but it is a narrative. When I wrote my first haiku a decade ago I was of the idea that it was a 3 liner. Then I embarked on this journey (somewhat later) and started numbering em. and having a common theme for sets of 10,and somewhere down the line I was made aware of the 575.I did write a few of em, but found it difficult to sustain at a particular rate. So I stopped writing haiku on the headers however continued with the 3 lines so my thoughts have a point to stop at, and the tags gets me to meet wonderful people like yourself. So guilty?
I am greatly enjoying your poetry.
Could you please explain what a haiku technically is? I am only familiar with the 5-7-5 structure.
Thank you,
David
